Bitmap checkpoint
I have a question regarding bitmap checkpoint If i use bitmap checkpoint for an image while recording and i change the resolution should the bitmap checkpoint pass or fail during run. |

Hi Rahul,
Bitmap checkpoint is the most sensitive among all checkpoints supported by QTP. If you change the resolution, the result of bitmap checkpoint depend on the two things: 1) The QTP version you are using [advance version support for bigger range ] 2) How much change you made in resolution. [More resolution change means more probability of failure]

I am not clear as to why this should happen. Basically the idea of bitmap checkpoint is not clear to me.
