Filter the String in Datatable

I am using Datatable with VB Script. I am able to read the datatable value.
My problem is: I wanted to search for my selected string within a column value in each row after I read from the datatable. I have 3 types of different string values in number of rows, I wanted to pick selected value within a string OR atleast I should be able to seperate my selective string after I read complete string in each column row. Please see the example.

column1 row1: "AAldkfjslfksjlfksjlfsjflksAA" I wanted to extract all the string between AA

column1 row1: "kjfhskjfsPPPjhghjg" I wanted extract only PPP
