When I begin QTP, I check the Web radio button. Will this allow me to automate testing of Desktop Applications as well.

I took a few tutorials and it seems that selection this option lets you test desktop applications as well.

Even if you do not select any add in, windows applications will work with default in built add-in which is 'standard widows'
