Unable to perform click operation on MDI menu/sub menu (Infragistics) with UFT 12
#1
Not Solved
Hi,

Am unable to perform any click operation on MDI menu/sub menu items (Ultra web menu- provided by Infragistics) on home page of my application with UFT 12 & IE 11 full mode.

Have tried both OR & DP way. It does identify all the main menu/sub menu item but do not perform click operation on the intended sub sub menu items in order to load the page.

Have tried all fire event method on the sub/sub sub menu item but that didn't work as well.

Also this happens with IE 11 Full mode. With IE 11 compatibility mode everything works fine. Have seen that frame & sub menu objects properties ( specifically HTML Tag) changes as we switch from IE 11 full & compatibility mode.

Steps to replicate-
1. Record the steps with UFT 12 in IE 11 Full Mode to click on Menu & then sub
menu items (as shown in screenshot)
2. Playback the script- Main menu item is clicked but mouseover/click not
performed on sub menu & sub sub menu items thus not loading the intended
page.
3. With script playback- It does not give any object identification error but not
doing the click operation either.

Any suggestions will be greatly helpful.
Please refer attached screenshot.

Thanks,
Mahendra
