Unexpected file Format

Hi Ankur,

I am a new member of this blog, I am facing a very unique problem in QTP. Whenever I open a save test script in QTP , Quick test throws an error saying that " Unexpected File Format "
and some times whenever i open new test , it does contain action1 in the test. i dont know what's wrong with this, I am facing this problem since couple of weeks. Could you please help me out to get rid of this?

Not a blog but a forum Smile. Never mind, answer the below questions and lets see how far we can go,

1. Which version of QTP were you using ?
2. Is this the first time you are using QTP ?
3. Was the machine rebuilt ?
4. Have you scanned the machine for Viruses or any adware or spyware ?
5. Which is your OS ?
6. Have you stored the scripts on QC or locally ?

Some of the most basic steps which should get you going. If you havent tried the above, please try and then get back. Hope for the best.
