Hi Guys,

How is everyone doing?

I am a little curious about the data sources that we can use to drive our scripts. We all know that excel is one of the data sources that is used to drive a QTP script, i was wondering.......

1. What are the different data sources other than excel that can be used to drive a QTP script.
2. Of the Data Sources available to be used in QTP why and when would you use them?

data sources that we can use are as follows

1. Global and local sheets of data table.
2. XML file in terms of environment variables or other parameters.
3. Excel sheet.
4. MS access database
5. oracle database.
6. VBS functions
