May I know why? Is there any particular reason?

RE: Invoke QTP using Excel - Rajesh - 07-15-2008

we know that we can launch qtp from a vbs file (AOM).
i am just checking for other available options to launch qtp.

RE: Invoke QTP using Excel - Rajesh - 07-15-2008

so is there any possiblity to launch qtp from excel.
I think this is possible.

Yah we can launch qtp from quality center.?
I think we can save our AOM script in the quality center and click run may open qtp.
Please correct me if i am wrong.

Thanks in advance.

yes, and also you can schedule it and QC will open QTP and run your script at a specified time

RE: Invoke QTP using Excel - Rajesh - 07-21-2008

I think we can invoke qtp from excel with the help of macros.

we can write AOM scripts in to the macros.

In excel - Tools - Macro - Visual Basic editor or Microsoft script editor - finally run the macro.

I have not yet tried this. I will let you know if i get expected results.

Thank you very much
