Is QTP suitable for banking apps? - hulan - 10-20-2016
I'm a tester in a bank. Our bank wants to automate our testing processes. Our banking application written on Java language and web-based. How is your testing tool suits for banking application? Please give me some more detail about QTP.

QTP (now UFT) is a industry agnostic tool. It does not matter whether it's a banking/aviation/telecom industry. This tool has been used by large number of Fortune 500 enterprises and is known to be the #1 commercial functional testing tool.
Among several companies, I personally have worked with a major US based telecom client and one of the biggest banks in US.
The main thing to note is your application compatibility with UFT. Download the 60 days trial of of the tool and then run a POC.
