We just recently finished a thourough evaluaiton for mobile testig using QTP and found a simple tool called Seetest that simply records tests on all smartphone devices connected via USB to my laptop and has code export to QTP, so we are actually running the test from QTP. check it out here http://experitest.com/

I am an experienced QTP developer (expert level 90K) with software and performance experience. I would like to start testing mobile applications. I have 15 years automated test experience, but I do not have any mobile experience. Any comments on how to break into this field? Thanks.

I am working as a test engineer, I need to start automation testing on one of the web based application using QTP. I am interested to use a key word driven frame work, so could you please help me how to start on this. Please send me some sample scripts as well as step by step information to start.
