Hello,

I have a problem while trying to install UFT 12.01 on Windows Seven 64-Bits.
During the installation, I have this message (in french because I'm french) :

"Echec de l'enregistrement du composant pour :
HP.ST.Ext.STRemoteAgent.dll
[...]"

No matter if I click OK or Cancel, the installation stops and I can't leave it only by killing the process.

I had QTP11 and I deleted it with CCleaner. I installed UFT on other PCs where QTP was not installed and the installation ran without problem.

Does someone had the same problem and could help me please?
I lose a lot of time trying to install this update time.

I installed UFT12.01 on Windows 7 Enterprise, 64 Bit laptop and successfully, though I had some problems initially.

your exe could be corrupted, download the fresh Installation files from HP Passport again.

Install while connected to Internet, which will ease your Pre-requisites installation.

The problem was solved by the HP intervention. The solution is:
- Do a clean uninstall (https://softwaresupport.hp.com/group/sof...t/KM171368)
- Uninstall .NET Framework with "dotnetfx_cleanup_tool"

The case can be closed
