Problem with Quality Center - kydow - 12-11-2008

Hi, everyone

When i launch a QTP test via qcbin since the QC server to a QTP customer
I get this error :
Unable to connect the testing tool to the requested Quality Center server. Error from QTP. Connection is not available.

When i launch a QTP test via qcbin since a QTP customer to the server QC
I get this error :
Test not found (La connexion a du mal a se faire car elle dure très longtemps)

I'm with Windows server 2003

If somebody have a solution... Big Grin

make sure you have "Allow other Mercury products to connect to this tool" option checked in QTP 'settings'

Thanks for the answer,
But i already have "Allow other Mercury products to connect to this tool".
Locally I have no problem to launch a QTP test via QC but the problem is to launch this since QC to a QTP customer in the network.

I check my QTP customers on QC in "Host Manager". My machines are in the same Domain group.

Make sure you have a connection from the QC Server to the client computer running QTP. If the server can't talk to the client computer by name, try using an IP address. If you still can't access the client from the server, you will need to get IT support involved to resolve the communications issue.
