Hi All,
I have got a task to test few applications which are web based and stand alone application in linux environment. Could you please tell me the way of approaches to test such kind of things?

Hi,
QTP works on these environments.
- Windows 2000-Service Pack 3 or Service Pack 4
- Windows XP-Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2
- Windows 2003 Server.
- Windows Vista
I am not sure about windows 7, rest all the envionrments like Linux or Mac I do not think if you would be able to install that as well.
Note: QuickTest Professional is supported on Windows XP Service Pack 2 only if the execution prevention mechanism (also known as DEP-data execution prevention and NX-no execution) is not activated
