Copy Object Local to Global Repository - A.Saini - 10-06-2010

Hi All,

I could not add an object using add operation in the repository (both Local & Shared).

By using low level recording , the object is availeble in Local Repository. But I need this object in the Shared Repository.

There is an option to copy object from shared to local repository.

Is there some way to copy object from local to shared repository????

Note: QTP version I am using is : 9.1

Export ur local object and store in a .tsr file. Now, open your shared repository and associate this local repository to the shared repository. After associating, right click on the object which u want to copy and click 'copy to local'. Later, u can remove association of repositories.

Now the object is copied to ur shared repository as well.
