QTP cannot identify if regular expression is used in Object Repository - anushreebehura - 06-06-2012 Hi Am testing on a window based application. My main window title is Trade back - 0000549606: Standard *. But the numeric values changes everytime we run the test case. So I have renamed it as Trade back*.* in Object Repository. But when am executing, QTP throws error saying Object cannot be identified. Then when I am trying to locate the object in the Object Repository through Object Repository Manager, its says object cannot be located in the repository. Can anyone suggest how to proceed? RE: QTP cannot identify if regular expression is used in Object Repository - sshukla12 - 06-06-2012 Hi, Try to use Trade back.* Regards, Sankalp RE: QTP cannot identify if regular expression is used in Object Repository - anushreebehura - 06-07-2012 It does not work....i have tried with many options.
