QTP slow to accept recorded input during test execution - jsdaubs - 07-29-2008 QTP v9.5.0.0 Build 194 Add-Ins: ActiveX, Java, VB, Web, .NET Some of our applications create and send emails. In so doing, MS Word is used to execute spell checking. QTP consistently waits about 1.5 minutes before accepting the recorded input to MS Word (for example, to ignore errors). This delay was not apparent during test recording. Why does this delay occur? What setting does QTP use when waiting for an input from another application? How can this wait period be shortened?
