QTP (all versions) is now supports all browsers: Safari (all versions), Chrome (all versions), Firefox (all versions), IE (all versions) and Opera (all versions) as well as mobile support for iPhone, iPad and Android (support for emulators or actual devices)
We designed support for checkpoints and descriptive programming as well. Your old scripts will automatically converts to support it no matter what version of QTP you have. QTP in cloud: ability to run same script in parallel on different browsers and mobile platforms in the same time (requires multiple QTP licenses).
Create your scripts as you new it, no new skills required.
We are aiming to release it in Q1 2012.
