Hi,

We recently installed the 9.2 version of QTP. We have to record our web application in different browsers like IE-6, IE-7 and Firefox. Can we record and run the scripts in all the above browsers ? Is it possible that only one script is recorded and run in all 3 different browsers ?
And also how do we deal with the pop-ups while recording(like in firefox everytime I run the script , it asks if you want to remember the password) which at present I click on manually, then only it takes me to the next page.

Thanks and your help is greatly appreciated.

QTP 9.2 will work on both IE-6 and IE-7

Yes, you can do that. Infact that's one the main benefits of QTP, it can be used to check your application against multiple browsers.

Regarding the pop-up, it has nothing to do with QTP. You need to uncheck "Remember passwords for my sites" in Tools--> Options--> Security in Firefox.
