Issue with Synchronization Point
#1
Not Solved
During the recording, after selecting the 'Synchronization Point' from the Insert menu, cursor shape is changed to hand shape but QTP is not getting minimized. Only once system is showing the desktop for a fraction of seconds and returning to QTP screen. Due to this I am not able to add Synchronization Point in the script.

Can someone tell me what could be the issue. I am using QTP 10.0 ; Win XP SP2.

Not sure what is causing the issue, but I can suggest you a work around for this.
hold down ctrl key and you can minimize QTP.

let me know if this helps.

does QTP minimize when you do Object SPY?

When i am using Object Spy - QTP is getting minimized on it's own. So the option is not required.

Thanks Saket,

I am able to put the S.P using Ctrl key and double clicking on the flight application.... (it is not working with single click... might be becoz I am using Ctrl key).

I got one more work around from my tutor which is given below:
"
drag the QTP window to half screen so that you can see the application....
Click record then drag the QTP window from right side then select insert checkpoint from insert menu
"

above work around is also working perfectly. One more thing, QTP is getting minimized while using Object Spy.

Please do not close this thread as both are work around but I didn't find the exact issue why QTP is not getting minimized. Thanks.
