Object identification in Windows 7

Hi

I have prepared one QTP script after installing QTP in Windows XP.Same scripts I merged with other scripts in another PC which is running in Windows 7.But the objects created in Windows XP is not recognizing in QTP installed Windows 7 OS.
What should I do to move and run the QTP scripts in any OS(I mean independent to XP or Windows 7)?

which version u r using QTP. upto QTP 11, HP Peoples are not sloving this problem.may be they are releasing patch for QTP 11.5(as per my knowledge i said if any Quries plz revert back me ).

I am using QTP 11.So as you are saying we have to live with this?I mean we can work only in one OS?

That would be disaster for HP, wouldn't it be?

I am sure there is something else here.
What is the error you get when you execute the scripts?
What kind of an application are you using?
Did you try recording a small bit of the application on windows 7 and re-execute it? Do you get the same error?
