QTP 9.1 to test oracle forms
#1
Not Solved
I have QTP 9.1 with oracle Addin 8.2, oracle Addin Patch 6100 and Java Addin 9.1.

I want to use QTP to test oracle 10g forms applications.
I tried it first without oracle and java addins and it was just recording the coordinates inside the oracle form.
With just oracle addin (withour java addin or patch) , it was not even recognizing the form, it just stays idle in recording mode ( I have JInitiator 1.1.8.16). Should I use both Addins? What combination of addins/patch versions I need to install?
I have Java 6 installed in my machine. Will there be any version clash due to this?
Please suggest me any ideas to proceed in this case. I am wondering if anybody has been successful with testing oracle 10g forms using QTP 9.1.
