QTP and iSeries

I would like to know whether QTP can be used for testing application in iSERIES(AS/400). Presently we are using a tool from Original software named Test Bench.

Note : We are using IBM Client Access version 5.5 to connect to the iSeries Server

If it is possible how effective is QTP in automating the testing in iSeries?
