what all you test when you migrate from client application to web application

hello all,

i was asked this question in the interview,i know this is not qtp but i dont get u guys anywhere so posting it here.please answer.

i said client is 2 tier and web is 3 tier so
1.u will see if data is migrated corectly
2.are all the ui working properly
3.are all the logic or their related links work properly

then he said apaart from functional what u test i said usability,integration ,system n end to end....please reply

How about adding browser compatibility, security tests, Regression and DB Tests?

Very good point. It is essential that a performance test be conducted as one of the base criteria to move from a standalone to web interface would be to increase the performance and handle the user traffic efficiently.
