Comparing 2 QTP reports

Hi All,

We have a situation where we need to compare the 2 QTP reports. Scenario is something like this:

Run a QTP suite on X build and run the same suite on Y build. Now we need to see if the failures are same on build X & Y. If know any tool or anyways to achieve this then please let me know.

Hi,
Try using a freeware called 'WDiff'. This helps in comparing two files. First try comparing two QTP Reports 'AS IS'. Would be great if it works. if not convert those QTP reports to HTML format and then try comparing them using WDiff.

Thanks for your reply and help but it doesn't work efficiently. It also list the date and time changes and takes more time than maually comparing the 2.

Try using LastRunResults Object.
Please check the help provided by QTP.
