Did you enabled the Web add-in when you open QTP?

I found it when you want to use QTP against another application I generally have to have QTP open first, then the application. Try that.

Open qtp first and then the app.

Checklist,
1. Addins ?
2. Any other browser or more than one instance of browser open?
3. If the above two doesnt work then try this,

Close all the open browsers.
1. On QTP, in the expert view, type the below,
1.1 SystemUtil.Run "www.google.com".
1.2 Then record the app.

I am awaiting a reply...

Hi Basanth,
solution: Make sure to launch QTP as Administrator. For this, right click on qtp icon and select run as administrator. If this dosent solve the problem, I would suggest to reinstall it. Login to the machine as Administrator, right click on setup.exe and select run as administrator Smile
