Problem in the display of QTP main screen

Dear Ankur:

I am Varadharajan, a beginner in QTP. I have a problem in viewing the QTP main screen. When I open QTP, the screen is blank. The screen doesn't show anything evenafter I tried to open an existing Test. Please help me out in this issue.

The problem started after I tried to execute the following code:

Code:
Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
msgbox "Varadharajan"
WshShell.SendKeys "Enter"

I am not sure whether the above code caused this problem or not.

Pls find the attached word document with screenshots.

Sorry to ask...But have you taken a restart ? I am suprised because if wscript was the issue then a restart would close the service. Which Version of qTP are you using ?

Dear Basanth:

The QTP version number is 9.2. But now I am not able to open QTP itself. When I try to open it, QTP throws an error stating that "The error has to be send to Microsoft or not ??". Please advise me on how to proceed with this issue.

On C:\Program Files\Mercury Interactive\bin\QTProffesional.bat, execute the bat file, take a restart and see if that resolves the issues. If it does not, uninstall & Reinstall QTP.
