Request Help | Usage of Oracle Add-In for Oracle SQL Developer
#1
Solved: 10 Years ago
The requirement is to perform Database testing by using QTP with Oracle Add-in. We have to use and “Oracle SQL Developer”. Instead of establishing “ADODB” connection, we are using Oracle Add-in as per the Client recommendation. While learning the objects of SQL developer, we noticed that it is recognizing as Java objects irrespective whether Oracle Add-in is loaded or not loaded with the QTP instance. I came to know from the forums that we have to first install Oracle Add-in then Java Add-in has to be installed. We followed the same way but the behavior is same. As per my knowledge, if the Oracle Add-In is loaded then the QTP will identify as Oracle objects.

Please share some help on the Oracle Add-In and the solution for the query mentioned above.

Thanks in Advance
