I want to learn backend testing.Can anyone suggest where to start?Any site address or documentation on backend testing.

How to do automated backend testing using QTP?
what is XMl Testing?
How to do data validation (between source database and Teradata ) using QTP? Can you record and run functionality using SQL queries?
