Do I need BPT licence to connect QC and QTP
#1
Solved: 10 Years, 9 Months ago
I am trying to establish a new project and was reading help to create object repository (help menu in OR window) and came across a statement saying QC should have BPT licence if I have to connect my QTP to QC. Is this true? If yes is there any other way to connect both as I don't think we have BPT licence.
By the way I am using QTP 9.5 and QC10

Thanks

Hi Mala,

You can work with any combination given below.
1. QC & QTP combination
2. QC,BPT & QTP combination (for Automation components)

BPT is not required for connecting QTP to QC, instead you would require 1. QTP Addins for QC
2. QC connectivity Addins.

If you need more info. just shoot me an email to meSmile
