Integration between QTP and QC

Hi,

I have error message when trying to link Quality Center v9.2 with Quick Test Professional v9.5. At Test Plan module , this is the error message:

Quality Center cannot display the test steps because a compatible version of the relevant Quick Test add-in is not installed.
To install a compatible add-in:
1. Uninstall the currently installed add-in using 'Add or Remove Programs" from the Windows Start menu
2. Download and install the latest QuickTest add-in from the HP Tool Add-In section of the More Quality Center Add-ins page (choose Help-> Add-ins page->More Quality Center Add-ins).

I have followed the specified instruction, yet the problem still persist.

Anyone be able help ?

You should have 3 things installed while connecting to QC.
QC connectivity add-in, QTP Add-in for QTP 9.5 and appropriate patches. QC connectivity add-in can be found at the QC add-ins page(while you log into QC) while QTP add-in at the place you have mentioned above. It should prompt for patches if required.

I did have install the QC Connectivity add, QTP Add-in. But still doesn't help.

I suppose you have QTP Add-in 9.5 installed and not the lower version?

If yes, I think you should contact HP support now. Do let us know if you get a fix.

Hi Ankur,

The issue is resolved once I have upgrade the Windows update to Service Pack 3.
And reinstall again the QTP Add-In, and QC Connectivity.
