QTP installation problem

Hi everybody

i m new to this forum ......i have installed the QTP 8.2 version in my system......the installation process runs smoothly with out any problem and after the complete instalaltion when i click on the QTP in programs menu ..........It is displaying the start up screen. when i click on ok button ........it is displaying the splash screen for 5 secs and after tht nothing happens..........i couldn't understand wht the problem is ..........i ll be gr8ful to u if anyone help me regarding this issue ....

run the QTP batch file one time and try again

hi ....

how to run the batch file ?....can u plz tell me . i dont know how to run the batch file in QTP .i know only tht some scripts can be run in batch ....can u tell me how to run batch file ???

The batch file Prince3105 is talking about is the QuickTestProfessional.bat file located at C:\Program Files\Mercury Interactive\QuickTest Professional\bin. Just double click on it and when it finishes, relaunch QTP. This file re-initializes all of the DLL's
