IE 7 Scripts not working FireFox 3.5

I am using QTP 9.1 and IE scripts are not working in firefix, plz help me out

qtp 9.1, 9.2, 9.5 and 10 does not support Firefox. Under Special circumstances by using patch of the qtp 10 it supports Firefox 3.6. Only qtp 11 supports Firefox

You need to update your QTP. I got email from HP last week about one announcement that they are not going to support 9 after 3 month. so make sure take all the resource from HP

I think QTP 10 also does not support Mozilla FireFox....QTP 11 supports FireFox only upto version 3.5...there is a patch available for QTP 11 for supporting only 3.6 version. But the versions after 3.6 does not supported by QTP....

Correct me if i am wrong.

And 2nd thing is, exact IE script will never run in Mozilla FireFox. U need to modify as per Firefox behavior and as per requirement. take an example like ".Click" method of QTP which helps to click on object is well supported in IE7, but it does not work for each case in FireFox. In this case you have to think in some other way to achieve click in mozilla....

Anyway u update your QTP version first...
