Hi,

You can have a RTM requirement tracebility matrix in place so that it'll be easiar for you to understand the no of requirements which are actually associated with the testing of the version under test.
Also, it will be easiar to identify the dependancies so as to save time further in finding the dependancies at the time of regression testing.
