QTP (10.0) not working on windows7

Hi all,
I am new to QTP. I am tring to learn QTP version 10.0(trial version) and my OS is windows 7 operating system.
When I try to do QTP regular expression and checkpoints (especially using text checkpoint), text checkpoint properties window will open with the text and hit OK. At this stage, my system crashes (reboots)

I have no idea on whats going on. Whom to contact.
