need help ,my QTP not recording .......

hi every one ,need help ,new to testing field ,my QTP is not recording any other application except flight application ......can any one give solution...

thanks for your response saket,
when i go to qtp and press record button, and i opend notepad or calc from my startbutton and did some operations on that comeout of that and stopped recording,in my expert view pane i didn't see any code....if i am goning flight application login window and entering username passwd its recoerding from there...so whats the problm ...whether Qtp installation is not in correct way or any other setting i have to perform when launching to Qtp ....i hope u got me ...

Hi bpadma,
I guess you have set Record and run settings to record only on applications
if so, go to Automation >Record and Run Settings > Windows Application Tab
select Record and Run test on any Windows-based application.
