Hi,

Yes,Checkpoint is used in regression testing.

Checkpoint is basically used for comparison between expected value & actual value of an object.

Hi,

Actuallly, Checkpoints play an important role to make your test results smart enough.

If you are using the checkpoints properly in your script than it will be very easy for you to analize the test results.

It also help to track the error in your script.
