i opened a notepad....while recording qtp does not record what is typed in or when i close the notepad....or the dialog which it asks for saving the notepad...qtp does not write the script....
Can anyone tell me what the reason could be??

Try the following
1. Make sure QTP is open before notepad 2. Go to "Automation">"Record and Run Settings">"Windows Applications" and make sure "Record and run test on any open Windows-based application" is selected

Hi,
restart ur QTP and start recording if still QTP is not recording restart ur system this will surely work. |
