automating .net backend application

Hello ,

I have to automate a .net application which is a backend application for configuration data management.
there are some pop up boxes and windows which are not being recognised.
how to fix this.

please i need your advice.

To get the pop up recognized by QTP, include "visible" property in the mandatory properties of the parent (of pop up)

Can u pls explain us where exactly we need to include the "visible", I am really keen to know this.
