webobjects are seen identified as winobjects

Hi,

Webobjects are seen identified as winobjects in QTP 9.2. Below is my system configuration.

OS: Windows 7 professional, 32-bit operating system
QTP: 9.2 Trial version
Browser: IE8

In QTP - Record and Run settings > web tab > "Record run test on any open browser" option is selected
UAC(user account control settings) level is set to very low

I tried this option IE8 > tools > Internet Options > Security > Enable Protected Mode. I unchecked this and tried to identify objects but IE stopped working. So I have checked the check box.

Request someone to help me on this.

Thanks in advance.

QTP 9.2 doesn't support IE8. You would need to downgrade to IE7 if you want to have a support for QTP 9.2 OR upgrade to QTP 10 and above
