Magenta box off by one object?

Magenta box off by one object?

When I step through my scripts, the magenta box that indicates which object is active appears to be offset by one object. For example, if I have Create, Submit and Delete buttons all in a row, the script correctly recorded that I clicked on the submit button, but the magenta box is drawn around the Delete button. Any suggestions?
