I have installed QTP on my Windows XP SP2 OS; When i record, my Active Screen does not capture any images. I have verified my settings in 'Options' and i have a partial level set.
I have tried all the levels, partial and full, but in both cases, but i still don't see images captured on my Active Screen.
Could anyone please clarify what i am doing wrong, or is there any other setting that need to configure.

which type of application you are trying to record.
For web Applications
go to tools>Option
at Active screen tab click custom level
under Web section (bottom)
- make sure you have unchecked 'Disable Active Screen Capture'

which QTP version you are using?
I think there is certain limitation for active screen in QTP 9.0.
checkout the readme file under Notes and Limitation. let us know if you find any cause there.
