Delete records using QTP

Hi all, needed help very badly,
Suppose my datagrid contains 100 records. Out of that I want to delete only 5-10 records. Could u plz tell me how do I do it using script???

there must be some functionality at your AUT to delete the records.
you can script that functionality and do you required.
is there anything different you are looking for?

Hi Saket,

I'm using QTP 8.2 version & I'm writing / recording a script for web based application which has developed in ASP.NET version. What I've done is I've added 10 different records using Data driven scripting but when I go to delete the added records, it does not allow to do it. Because I guess QTP does not recognize the datagrid & hyperlinks.
Plz correct if I'm wrong.

QTP recognise datagrid and hyperlinks, as I can remember QTP 8.2 also supports this. do you have .net adding loaded?

No. I don't have .net Add Ins for 8.2 version because I'm using 14 days demo version.

btw why dont you use QTP 10. why using the old one.

Bcoz I ve got a patch of 8.2 using which we can extend our 14 days license to 3 months.
Secondly could u plz give me the link for downloading .net Add ins for 8.2 ver.?

I dont have that, may be you can ask HP.
btw can you please let me know more details about that extension, did you get it from HP?

I googled on HP's site but I didnt get Add In for 8.2. The same is available for 9.2, 9.5 & 10 versions.
Furthermore, 14 days extension patch is available but it is virus affected.
