I am an experienced QTP developer (expert level 90K) with software and performance experience. I would like to start testing mobile applications. I have 15 years automated test experience, but I do not have any mobile experience. Any comments on how to break into this field? Thanks.

In HP Discover (6/6) perfecto mobile and HP will jointly present (with QTP product manager on stage) the first complete, FULLY integrate mobile test automation extension to QTP (i.e. MobileCloud for QTP).

We just recently finished a thourough evaluaiton for mobile testig using QTP and found a simple tool called Seetest that simply records tests on all smartphone devices connected via USB to my laptop and has code export to QTP, so we are actually running the test from QTP. check it out here http://experitest.com/
