Ok, this post has nothing to do with QTP but it would be interesting and is for a noble cause. I trust you guys won’t mind it.
Google is celebrating its 10 birthday with the launch of Project 10^100.
This is a call for ideas that could help as many people as possible, and a program to bring the best of those ideas to life. CNN will be covering this project, including profiles of ideas and the people who submit them from around the world.
You need to come up with an idea which can impact and help people around the world. Your idea can be in any category as long as it has a widespread reach, is cost effective and can be implemented in a year or two.
And how will my idea come to life?
Once you submit your idea, it will be reviewed by select Google employees and they will choose the top 100 out of all the entries. From this phase onwards, public voting will start that will then choose 20 semi-finalists. The winners will be the final five out of those 20 semi-finalists.
What will the winning ideas get?
A funding of $10 million from Google.
So, put on your thinking caps, bring out the Einstein and Newton within you and submit your entries. The last date is Oct, 20th ‘08. Help the world succeed!
